Video Tips for Playing Mountain Ocarinas

Many years ago, I made these informal videos to answer questions posed by friends on our old forum. We decided to share them here because the content is helpful.

(BUT… between you and me, I’m more than a little embarrassed by my clowning around, the poor production quality, and the excessive length of some of the videos. Let us know if you find them helpful.)

Wow, this video is especially long — 28 minutes! Again, it was an informal video I made to help friends in our old forum, so please bear with some of my silliness. If you’re in a hurry, you can skip ahead to 15:44 where I start teaching technique.

Our family-owned business, Mountain Ocarinas Inc. – Coda EDC Flutes, has been on pause since we moved from Connecticut to Georgia in order to better support our extended family. For that reason, we are not selling any of our products at this time.

It’s been a challenge to start over in a new place with new responsibilities, but I am actively prototyping designs for an improved family of wonderful, tough, pocket-sized inline ocarinas. Later this year, we plan to begin launching these new flutes – one at a time.

If you’d like to be contacted when we begin sales again, please email us through our contact page.  Thank you for your interest and patience!

Warmest regards,

Karl Ahrens
